Snapchat Support — Download My Data · accessed Jun 2026 ↗.zip built around an index.html viewer rather than a clean machine-readable JSON/CSV bundle.Connects to apps: No. Snapchat's Login Kit OAuth grants only identity fields (display name, Bitmoji, an app-specific ID) and states it does not provide access to personal data; getting your snaps, chats, memories or friends requires the manual "My Data" download request. Snapchat Support — Download My Data · accessed Jun 2026 ↗2Deletionstated
Self-serve deletion via the accounts web portal with a 30-day reactivation grace period, then permanent deletion by ~day 60 (longer in India).
Snapchat Support — Deactivate or delete account · accessed Jun 2026 ↗2Sells / sharesstated
States it does not sell data or share for cross-context behavioral advertising; offers in-app opt-out of activity-based ads and honors universal opt-out signals where state law requires.
Snapchat Support — Your Privacy Choices · accessed Jun 2026 ↗1Trains AIstated
My AI conversations are retained and "may be used to improve Snap's products" with no setting to stop retention, but a Settings opt-out exists for using public content to train generative-AI models.
Snap — My AI Privacy Hub · accessed Jun 2026 ↗Snapchat scores well on self-serve access, deletion and a no-sell / GPC-honoring stance, but its export is an HTML-zip rather than clean machine-readable data and My AI chat content is trained on with only a partial opt-out. Source-verified Jun 2026; all cells stated (read from published policy/support docs), none yet tested via live export.
