Agent Readiness is a derived signal — a synthesis of two existing cells (Access, Portability) plus one sourced factor (API access), not an independently measured grade. API access scale: Best (2) consumer-grantable API · Moderate (1) partial / encumbered · Restrictive (0) manual export only. What is Agent Readiness?

Robinhood offers a self-serve "Download my data" option (Account -> Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Download my data), plus on-demand Reports and Statements, returning a copy of your account and transaction data.

1Portabilitystated
The export is delivered as CSV files; CSV is a single structured machine-readable format and no second confirmed structured format (e.g. JSON) was found, so portability is scored at the single-format level. Downloadable history is also stated to be limited to roughly one year.

1Frictionstated
The data download and report generation are assembled on demand; large date ranges and peak periods are stated to take up to 24 hours, adding an asynchronous wait.

1Deletionstated
Account closure is available, but Robinhood's privacy policy states it retains personal information "for as long as necessary" and "up to 5 years after the relationship ends in order to comply with our obligations as a regulated financial institution," so erasure is materially limited by financial-regulation retention.

Robinhood's privacy policy says it "discloses information about you to third-party advertising and analytics services" and may "share personal data such as your hashed email address or your device ID with marketing partners"; it acknowledges these activities "may be considered 'sales,' 'sharing,' or 'targeted advertising'" under US state law and offers a Your-Privacy-Choices opt-out, indicating the default involves sharing for advertising. Financial transaction data itself is GLBA-governed and not sold.

1Trains AIstated
Robinhood's privacy policy states that "your inputs and conversations with our chatbots and AI features, may be used to train, test, improve, or enhance our AI functionalities." This is limited to AI-feature interactions rather than broad account or trading data, and no specific opt-out is stated, so AI-training use is scored at the partial level.

1API access — feeds Agent Readiness, not the /12stated
Robinhood offers a consumer-generatable Crypto Trading API: a user creates a revocable API key/secret in-app to read holdings and place crypto orders. It is scoped to crypto trading, is key-based rather than OAuth, and there is no official consumer API for reading your full brokerage/account data, so agent access is partial.

Reviewed Jun 2026. Robinhood's privacy policy was read directly; the data-download mechanics were corroborated through published guides because the support article on accessing personal data returned a 404 to an automated fetch. Robinhood is a regulated financial institution, which shapes two cells: account-related financial data is governed by the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and is partly exempt from state access/erasure rights, and Robinhood states it retains personal information up to 5 years after the relationship ends to meet its regulatory obligations.

How to request your data from Robinhood

  1. Go to https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/managing-your-personal-data/ — Robinhood's data-request entry point.
  2. Account -> Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Download my data.
  3. Expected wait: data download / reports generated on demand; large ranges or peak periods may take up to 24 hours; downloadable history limited to about one year — Robinhood's stated turnaround (we haven't independently timed a request yet).
  4. No self-serve option, or want a formal request? Contact Robinhood — Privacy / Data Requests: https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/data-sharing-preferences/.
