Agent Readiness is a derived signal — a synthesis of two existing cells (Access, Portability) plus one sourced factor (API access), not an independently measured grade. API access scale: Best (2) consumer-grantable API · Moderate (1) partial / encumbered · Restrictive (0) manual export only. What is Agent Readiness?

2Accessstated
Self-serve export of “your personal data (as stored in our servers at the time of your requests)” via the dedicated export tool, plus a documented Privacy Requests form and a postal channel; no fee.
Mistral Help Center — How do I export my data from Vibe? · accessed Aug 2026 ↗
1Portabilitystated
The Export button downloads “all your Vibe data” self-serve, but Mistral does not document the delivered format — nothing states a structured, machine-readable export.

1Frictionstated
Export, per-conversation deletion, account deletion and the training opt-out are all self-serve; anything beyond the built-in controls goes through the Privacy Requests form with no stated response timeline.
Mistral AI Privacy Policy — Your Rights · accessed Aug 2026 ↗
1Deletionstated
Per-conversation and account deletion are self-serve — “Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All prompts, outputs, and personal data are removed” — and Vibe retention ends when you delete, but no post-deletion purge timeline is stated.

2Sells / sharesstated
“Mistral AI has not ‘sold,’ ‘shared,’ or engaged in ‘targeted advertising’ with … any personal data of consumers in the preceding 12 months”; sharing is scoped to service providers, team, financial, regulatory and legal recipients, with providers listed on a public Trust Center.
Mistral AI Privacy Policy — data sharing · accessed Aug 2026 ↗
1Trains AIstated
Free-tier Vibe conversations “can be used to improve our models” by default, with a self-serve opt-out — “You can opt out at any time from the Admin Panel”; on paid tiers conversations “aren’t used for model training by default”.

0API access — feeds Agent Readiness, not the /12stated
La Plateforme is a developer inference API; there is no consumer-grantable OAuth API for an agent to fetch your own Vibe data — the self-data path is the manual Admin Panel export tool.

Graded 2026-08-30 against the Mistral AI Privacy Policy (effective Jul 27, 2026), the Help Center export article, and the privacy-and-data-controls documentation. Consumer surface = Vibe (formerly Le Chat), operated by Mistral AI, a French company; storage prioritizes EU providers under GDPR. Retention differs by surface: Vibe keeps conversations until you delete them; the standard API keeps inputs/outputs 30 rolling days for abuse monitoring (a paid Zero-Data-Retention option exists for the API, not for Vibe). Free-tier conversations train by default; paid tiers do not. This company also publishes its models as open weights. Running them yourself, or through another host, is not governed by this policy — this grade describes Mistral's own service. All cells stated, not tested.

How to request your data from Mistral (Vibe)

  1. Go to https://admin.mistral.ai/account/export — Mistral (Vibe)'s data-request entry point.
  2. Admin Panel → Account → Export (self-serve); training opt-out in the Admin Panel; other requests via the Privacy Requests form.
  3. Expected wait: self-serve export and account deletion; form-mediated requests carry no stated response timeline — Mistral (Vibe)'s stated turnaround (we haven't independently timed a request yet).
  4. No self-serve option, or want a formal request? Contact Mistral AI — Privacy: https://legal.mistral.ai/terms/privacy-policy.

These steps reflect Mistral (Vibe)'s documented process as of Jun 2026. The wait time is the company's stated figure, not yet independently measured by us.
