A1Logins

OAuth only, “stored securely”, with a delete control: tokens “are cleared from Town’s systems” when you disconnect. No statement that the model never sees them.

A2Capturehuman review by default

Meeting audio is uploaded and transcribed in the cloud, and the policy allows “video replays of those user sessions”, with no retention period for either.

Policy grade for Town: C7/12, read from Town Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (updated 21 Jul 2026).

1

Access

You can view account settings and stored memories in-app, but a copy of your personal data is request-only: US “rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information” are exercised “by contacting us” at an email address, with identity checks and no stated timeline.

1

Portability

“There’s no self-serve, structured export (a full data dump) today”. The help page offers a Townie-compiled document or “a formal export for compliance or offboarding reasons” by email, and the terms say Memory Data “may not be exported or transferred to third-party platforms”.

Town Docs — Managing your account ↗ · stated · accessed 12 Oct 2026
1

Friction

Account deletion, memory deletion and the training toggle are self-serve in Settings, but access and export run through email requests with identity checks and no stated response time.

Town — Privacy Policy / Managing your account ↗ · stated · accessed 12 Oct 2026
2

Deletion

Self-serve deletion (Settings → Delete Account) soft-deletes “immediately” with “Permanent deletion within 30 days”, connected-app tokens cleared, and “Narrow exceptions” named (legal hold, required security and audit records).

Town Docs — Managing your account ↗ · stated · accessed 12 Oct 2026
1

Sells / shares

The policy concedes that its advertising cookies and pixels “may constitute a ‘sale’ … or ‘sharing’” for cross-context behavioral advertising, with a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and Global Privacy Control honored. The security page’s “We don’t share it for advertising” conflicts, and the policy controls.

1

Trains AI

“We may use your personal information to train our AI models”, on by default, with an opt-out “by using the toggle feature provided in your account settings”. The security page says only “your content is used to operate and improve Town’s services for you”, and the policy controls.
