Agent Safeguards
3/10What Hark Labs says about how Hark handles the access you give it. The five scores add up to a number out of 10, with no label.
A1Logins
Logins and cards sit in an encrypted vault (“Hark cannot view this information ever”), and Stored Credentials are deleted “when you remove them or close your Account”.
A2Capturecapture undisclosed
Hark keeps “task execution logs” and sandbox data for “the lifetime of your account”, and no page states how long screenshots or screen recordings are kept.
A3Memory
Memory can be reviewed, edited or deleted “at any time by asking your agent”, but no off switch or purge timeline is stated.
A4Where it runs
“For every request, Hark spins up a dedicated virtual computer”, but no page says it is destroyed, and sandbox data is kept for the account’s lifetime.
A5Exit
No export tool exists (“any export tools we make available” names none), and deletion has no stated timeline.
Policy grade
7/12Read from the Hark Labs Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Policy grade for Hark: C7/12, read from Hark Labs Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (updated 1 Oct 2026).
Access
You can see “certain information associated with your account” in Privacy Settings and request a full copy there, but the right applies only “Depending on where you live” and “Subject to certain exceptions and conditions”, with identity verification and no stated timeline.
Portability
No export tool is named anywhere. Portability is only a conditional legal right (“In certain cases and subject to applicable law, you have the right to receive certain of your information … in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format”). The terms mention only “any export tools we make available”.
Friction
Rights requests go through an in-app Privacy Settings form (or a web form if locked out) and Memory can be deleted by “asking your agent”, but requests carry identity verification and no stated response timeline, and the terms route account closure through email (“by emailing us at support@hark.com”).
Deletion
The terms say “You can close your Account at any time by emailing us at support@hark.com”, after which Hark will “delete or de-identify your Content, Memory, and Stored Credentials”, but data is “Retained for the lifetime of your account” and backups are deleted “on our normal backup cycle” with no stated purge timeline.
Sells / shares
The US section states plainly: “We have not sold or shared Personal Data (as those terms are defined under applicable law) in the preceding 12 months”. The help page answers “Does Hark share my data with advertisers?” with “No.”
Trains AI
“Hark does not use your Inputs, Outputs, Memory, connected account data, or sandbox environment data to train AI or machine learning models. No opt-out is needed, and your account will not be used for training of AI models.”
